North Atlantic Think Tank (Nordatlantisk Tankesmie) is a new think tank aiming to contribute to the public debate on cooperation and development in the NORA region. The think tank has been established as a follow-up on the OECDs Territorial Review of the NORA Region: The Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland and Coastal Norway.
North Atlantic Think Tank is comprised of eight people, all acting in a personal capacity. They do not represent the organisations with which they are normally associated, but instead are encouraged to be free thinkers.
The think tank is facilitated by NORA, but it is politically independent. The views, assessments and recommendations that the think tank expresses do not represent NORAs official views or political stances.
